A short-term lease and dedicated aircraft is ideal for a client who requires an aircraft on "standby" and to be ready to operate, if required. And it is also ideal for aircraft owners, while their aircraft is "down" and at a maintenance facility for a scheduled inspection.

Each short-term dedicated aircraft lease will consist of two cost components:

The fixed lease cost will provide the dedicated aircraft and crew for the duration of the lease, along with an included number of flight hours (or block hours). Whether the aircraft flies or not, this is the cost to make the aircraft available for the duration of the lease term.

If there is a need to perform flights, beyond the included flight hours (or block hours), then there is a predetermined cost per hour stated within the lease agreement. These additional will be broken down as an hourly rate "++", meaning plus fees for landing and handling, permits, and crew accommodations. All these fees will be clearly noted within the short-term lease agreement.
